I adopt a student-centred and interactive approach to teaching History, focusing on helping students truly understand rather than memorise facts. My lessons are aligned with the KPM Form 1 History syllabus, ensuring students are well-prepared for school assessments and exams.
In my classes, I use a combination of storytelling, visual aids (mind maps, timelines), and discussion-based learning to make historical topics more engaging and easier to remember. I also incorporate past-year questions, quizzes, and simple note summaries to strengthen students’ answering techniques and confidence.
A typical lesson lasts 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the student’s needs and focus level. Each session includes a short recap, new topic explanation, guided practice, and quick assessment to track progress.
I hold a Master’s degree and have a strong academic background in education and research, with experience guiding students in understanding complex topics in a simple and structured way.
