About Stacey
I am a dedicated and hardworking educator, seeking to assist students to reach their maximum potential. I aim to make learning fun through my lessons, with the use of various materials. I am committed to the academic success and personal growth of students through support and the use of innovative teaching strategies. I have a Degree in Psychology and a Post Grad Degree in Education - Foundation Phase. I have 6 years classroom-based teaching experience in the following subjects - English, Mathematics, Afrikaans (Grade 1 - 7) and have experience in online teaching as well, as I also completed a 120-hour TEFL Certificate course. Through my interest in Psychology and education I have had the opportunity to work at a remedial center for 3 years assisting learners with barriers and helping them grow both academically and emotionally. I believe that students should be developed holistically.

Together we will start from the basics building up to our goal that we are aiming to accomplish. I believe that each child is unique and so is their learning style. My aim is to develop lessons that suit the needs of a student; whether their learning style is visual, auditory or using concrete apparatus. In a nutshell; learning made fun!

She is my child's former teacher. She possesses the 'can do' attitude. Can take on all the tasks given to her with positive energy and a smile. She has a character that enables her to effectively interact and relate well with all stakeholders. I recommend her cause during her time as an educator she has shown a great deal of enthusiasm for her work and has taken on responsibilities beyond her position as an educator.
Teacher Stacey is a wonderful person inside & out , I personally know her as she was my son's teacher last year, and she did an excellent job not only making our kids understand the work but also letting them enjoy studying.
