About Abdulwahab
I am a seasoned tutor with over 15 years in the field of teaching and learning. I have taught with foreign bodies like IELTS, TOEFL, SAT and just to mention a few. In similar light, I have a Masters Degree in English Language for more than 8 years and teaching it in the same capacity. I am a dedicated linguist, who will ensure that my students understand the lessons of the day before the class is up. There are faster and simpler way of impacting the knowledge into the students without necessarily making the class boring. Through my experience in the field, I have noticed that if the class is boring, the students will lose interest in what you are saying. Succinctly, life examples and pictorials can easily drive your point home.

The orthography of English Language is carved out from a West Germanic Language( those it is no longer in existence. English Language has been in existence for centuries now with its lexicon being modified to suite the present time. It has undergone transformation from the old English to the Middle English , Elizabethan English that is the like of Shakespeare to the modern English. In similar light, English is a wide language that covers various aspects like morphology, syntax, semantics (the study of meanings) phonology, pragmatics and the likes. Aside these branches, we have sub branches within the main branch-example: sociolinguistics which is the study of language variations and this to also have its own sub branches. In all, English Language is a wide aspect of study. Our foci will be on taking these aspect one after the other until we cover a vast area of the study. Succinctly, the aspect of speech community, diagnosis, code switching and code mixing Language and Identity, grammar ( Lexis and structure) traditional grammar, structural and transformational generative grammar just to mention a few with be analyzed using a tree diagram by Haliday and Rukayat Hassan of TGG.
