About Akpa
My name is Uchenna Akpa, a dedicated COMPUTER SCIENCE, STEM, and CODING tutor for kids. My goal is to ensure that children have the required technological skills to compete favorably in today’s ever-evolving tech world. I have over 5 years of classroom and online tutoring experience, teaching what I love to kids. I'm currently working part-time as a COMPUTER SCIENCE and CODING tutor at Lemans Academy. I adopt a practical approach that involves using images and simulating problem-solving using games. In maths, I adopt logic and pattern recognition to solve problems, as well as allow the child to spearhead the problem-solving using previous examples, and guide
In coding, the goal is to develop computational thinking, which is the ability to break down problems before worrying about syntax or complex formulas.
In summary, I am building these skills to remain permanent with kids as they continue to grow, and build solutions to problems using technology
