About Philip
Hello! I’m a third-year Aerospace Engineering student at the University of Leeds, currently on an industry placement with Leonardo in Luton, UK. I’m on track for a First-Class degree and have a strong academic foundation in mathematics, having achieved an A* in Maths and an A in Further Maths at A-Level.
Studying engineering at a high level has strengthened not only my mathematical skills but also my ability to explain complex ideas in simple, relatable ways. I use real-world examples and practical approaches to bring maths to life, helping students see how it all connects beyond the classroom.
I tutor students of all ages, from primary level up to A-Level, and I tailor each lesson to your specific goals—whether you’re building confidence with the basics, preparing for important exams, or pushing for top grades. My teaching style is patient, clear, and adaptable. I believe that with the right guidance and encouragement, every student can enjoy and succeed in maths.
