About Thulasizwe
Hello, students! My name is Thulasizwe, and I am passionate about helping learners unlock their full potential in Mathematics, especially Geometry and Algebra. I hold a BCom degree, which has strengthened my analytical and problem-solving skills, and I bring that same mindset into my teaching. With my experience in tutoring, I have learned that every student learns differently. That is why I focus on creating lessons that are clear, engaging, and tailored to your individual needs. I take pride in explaining concepts step by step, using practical examples, and making Math feel less intimidating and more enjoyable. I am fluent in English and isiZulu, which means I can teach in whichever language makes learning easier for you. A typical lesson with me includes a quick review of past work, a clear breakdown of new topics, guided practice, and space for your questions so that you leave each session with confidence. My lessons are best suited for high school students (Grades 8–12) and beginners at university who want to strengthen their foundation in Geometry and Algebra. I believe every student can succeed in Maths if they are guided with patience, clarity, and encouragement. My approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts in Geometry and Algebra into simple, step-by-step explanations that students can easily understand and apply.
What makes me unique as a tutor is that I combine my BCom background with strong problem-solving skills, which allows me to connect Maths to real-life examples. I create an engaging, interactive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes — because that’s how real learning happens.
I am proficient in English and isiZulu, and I can teach confidently in either language depending on what suits the student best.
