About Tasheeka
My preferred teaching style is to involve the students as much as possible to self-reflect. My main aim is to help develop the young children that I tutor into self-aware young people who are confident in expressing their opinions but can also understand that listening is also important. Debating their opinions and learning to be assertive is the best way to become better at essay writing and my teaching style is to equip students with the knowledge to write determined pieces. Detailed and structured lesson plans around the specific content that students are learning in class will be the focus of the sessions. However, as well as providing students with the materials to take them further in their understanding so they can excel. Teaching students independent research skills so that they are able to conduct research on their own by showing them reputable sites and resources which will give them the most accurate and reviewed information.
