About Josiah
I am a recent high-school graduate from John Monash Science School, and despite this, I have had multiple years of tutoring experience; from primary school to VCE to UCAT preparation. We have constructed a curriculum where there will be a hour long content class and workshop class each week, with the workshop classes building off the ideas taught in the content classes. Our motto is "Bridging Minds", and I firmly stand by this statement. Success requires not only personal intellect, but the ability to converse and work with others. Forming these small groups, our students build a sense of rapport and formulate a social network that cannot be mirrored anywhere else. This ideology is based on the simple fact that students will listen better to their peers over their teachers! With this information, we have decided to restrict classes to 6-8 people and ensure that each student understands the topics taught, but more importantly, is able to share their ideas and worries with their class. Fostering these connections are vital in not only our day to day life, but also promises that concepts that are taught in class, are challenged by our students. And once you challenge a topic, is where true learning begins.
