About Betul
My major profession is a dentist, but I have been giving private lessons for years (even before I became a dentist). Teaching is one of the main reasons that keeps my life energy and motivation high. Living abroad for several years had provided me an extra language and I wanted to use this as a tool to teach the students that really needed to learn this language. I was still a student while doing this and it gave me an incredible pleasure. Since I studied high school in the IB (International Baccalaureate) diploma system, I started teaching IB Biology after I graduated and this process has continued since then. Now, I am a full time dentist, but it is my basic duty to arrange our time together with the students and help them as much as I can (or even more) in order for them to reach their goals.

Lessons are taught in an interactive way. In addition to oral expression, there are also written, illustrated and demonstrative expressions. It is my preference to teach my classes in full English. My lessons are very fluent and full of information. If there is a point that is not understood during the lesson, it is clarified at that moment. I provide a deep understanding of the subject of the course with supporting materials. My English lessons are suitable for all levels. It covers primary, secondary, high school, university, master, phd and beyond. My biology classes are mostly for students preparing for the IB, AP and SAT exams. I assist in completing tasks such as Internal Assessment for the IB education system.
