About Caru
I am a jewellery designer by trade, currently completing my Master's in Design at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. I have been teaching high school Design and creative art in South Africa for the last 7 years. I have experience marking Gr12 national senior certificate examinations and a lot of experience preparing students for that exam. I am passionate about every aspect of being creative, whether it is for pleasure, therapy, or education.

My teaching method takes a practical approach. I like to integrate theory into practical projects and teach the two aspects of Design as a single component.
I approach each topic with creativity and fun, to ensure that the learning process is enriching, fulfilling, and enjoyable for both teacher and student.
