About Branco
About Me
Music has been a part of my life from a very young age. I started studying music at 9 years old, and over the years, singing became one of my deepest passions and forms of self-expression.
I studied Professional Music — Performance, with a specialization in Pop Voice at Vanier College in Montreal. Since then, I’ve continued developing my voice through years of practice, performance, songwriting, recording, and continuous study of vocal technique.
I’ve performed my original music on stages throughout Montreal, including restaurants, bars, and festivals such as the Montreal Pride Festival. I’ve also had the opportunity to sing in Gregory Charles’ choir for his Projet 7 concert.
As a singer-songwriter, I’ve recorded many of my own songs over the years. You can find my music on streaming platforms under my full name, Branco De Souza.

Develop Your High Voice — Even If You Have a Low Voice
Do you have a naturally deep or low voice but struggle to sing high notes with power, freedom, and confidence?
Or maybe you can reach the notes, but they feel strained, breathy, unstable, or disconnected from the rest of your voice?
My lessons focus on helping singers expand their vocal range and develop powerful high notes while maintaining vocal health and freedom.
My approach combines Bel Canto vocal technique with the demands of modern music, including rock, pop, alternative rock, and other contemporary styles. Rather than simply teaching you to “push” higher, we work on coordinating the voice so that high notes become more accessible, efficient, expressive, and sustainable.
My approach
I teach voice in a comprehensive way, focusing on the coordination of the entire instrument rather than isolated tricks or exercises.
