About Benita
My name is Benita John and I am a Diction Tutor. I’ve been with the District since 2003. I started as a substitute and got hired as a teacher in 2016. Throughout the years, I have taught the following grades: 1st, 2nd,4/5 combo, and 6th. As an educator, I see the importance of professional development and serving others. Currently, I’m available for freelance services and I enjoy supporting new teachers. I have also trained several teachers in creating their own room environment decor, anchor charts, and worksheets/units through webinars and seminars. I also enjoy producing and selling resources online to help support others in the classroom. I will do whatever is needed to promote learning in creative ways. When you come to my classroom, I will teach you strategies and techniques that will assist in teaching in a meaningful and creative manner. Students will be engaged and enjoy collaborating in class discussions.
