About Janandrea
Hello, my name is Andrea. I studied the International Baccalaureate (IB) program in Thailand and am fluent in both Italian and English, while also solidifying my French. Currently, I’m pursuing a degree in Biomedical Sciences at university, a field I’m truly passionate about. I find great joy in the subject and aim to share that enthusiasm by helping students who may be struggling with biology.
In addition to biology, I studied Chemistry HL and Economics HL in the IB program, both of which I thoroughly enjoyed. I’m also excited to tutor these subjects and assist students in mastering the material.

Italian
I believe the most effective way to learn is through active engagement rather than simply reading passages from books, which may not lead to long-term understanding. My lessons are designed to be interactive, starting with an overview of the theory, followed by short-answer exercises to reinforce key concepts. To conclude each session, I conduct a feedback segment where the student explains the topic. This method solidifies their understanding and allows me to assess their grasp of the material.
Each lesson typically lasts an hour, but I'm flexible. I can adjust the duration to suit the student's needs better, whether a 30-minute or two-hour session during exam preparation.
While I haven’t tutored professionally yet, I have a strong background in helping my peers during high school. Through my communication skills and subject knowledge, I’ve consistently supported classmates, and it’s been rewarding to see how much it benefits them.
I offer lessons to anyone with particular expertise in IB, as I've completed the program myself. Additionally, I can tutor students in IGCSE and A-Levels, as I’m quick to adapt and familiarize myself with various academic systems.
