About Ramya
Music is what makes me. It has been a really important part of my life since the age of 5 years. I have always prioritised it and pursued it passionately. I have learnt Hindustani classical singing for over 15 years. I am also trained in Rabindra Sangeet. I am a disciple of Padma Shri Ustad Rashid Khan. Currently, I am learning voice culture and vocal techniques at AR Rahman's KM College of Music and technology. Simultaneously, I am pursuing Hindustani classical music under Sounak Chattopadhyay (renowned Bengali singer).
I hail from Uttar Pradesh with awadhi as my mother tongue. However, music has blurred boundaries for me and given me a peek in several cultures. I am forever grateful for this.

I believe strengthening basics is extremely important for any kind of music. My lessons would be suitable for beginners of any age group. I will focus primarily on voice exercises, techniques, and some basic ragas.
I will also be working on breathwork for better control of the voice.
