About Sherry
As a music education ambassador active in China and the United States, she has visited the United States many times for music education exchanges and served as a judge for international and domestic piano competitions. Her students have won numerous awards in international piano competitions. In 2017, she served as the Music Ambassador at the "First World Greater Bay Area Economic Forum" held at Stanford University in the United States. Subsequently, she conducted visiting research and exchanges at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and the Music Department of Stanford University! She has also been interviewed by American media many times, with her works published in the "China-US Times". She has participated in the Global (U.S.) Outstanding Chinese Young Performers Competition and the music festival activities in San Francisco many times, and served as the judge for the China region. In 2020, she won the Best MTV Original Music Award at the San Francisco New Concept International Film Festival in the United States, which was reported by the mainstream American media PC United Press International. In 2021, she worked as a piano professional lecturer of "Art Narrator" at the Hong Kong International Musicians Association. In 2021, she was awarded the Excellent Instructor Award for the Grade 10 Performance Diploma of the GMT Piano Exam hosted by the University of St. Mary in Minnesota, USA, and her students achieved excellent grades. In 2021, she became an international judge of the International Musicians Association, an internationally recognized instructor for the ABRSM exams, and a certified instructor for the Certificate of Merit of the Music Grade Exams of the California Teachers Association in the United States. She is a member of the Honorary Music Talent Pool of the International Musicians Association, and a member of the Global Outstanding Chinese Artists Association in the United States as well as a judge for the China region.

I approach teaching with patience and attention to detail, carefully guiding each student through the nuances of music. I emphasize the importance of expressing musical emotion and developing a solid foundation in technique, ensuring that students not only play the notes correctly but also understand and convey the character of the music. My lessons combine structured technical practice with musical interpretation, encouraging students to build both skill and artistry, and to develop a lifelong appreciation and understanding of music.
