About Niall
My name is Niall and I've been immersed in environmental work for 6 years—working on a range of projects that included coastal birds, frogs and sharks and rays. My studies have taken me twice to South Africa with one study now published in the African Journal of Ecology. My current focus and passion is making biology less intimidating and more by communicating just how important the role of biological systems are for our everyday lives.

Hello hello!! As a seasoned tutor, I bring a wealth of teaching and industry experience that can help you become both fluent in your topics as well as gain an appreciation for the biological world around us. Having been someone who despised biology and indeed all science subjects in school, it was only later in life through being immersed in wildlife conservation projects did I come to love learning about the mechanisms that comprise the world around us. So much so that I have no completed an MSc in Ecology and will soon undertake a PhD. With that, I am dedicated to making complex topics clear, fostering a deep understanding of biology, and instilling a sense of admiration of how and why natural phenomena behave.
My tailored lessons, designed for students completing their junior and leaving certificate (or overseas equivalent), run approximately 45 minutes and promise to engage anyone in the vast yet captivating world of biology. Let me know what topics you may be struggling with and through combining real life practical examples and high quality course material, I will create a detailed and personalised plan that will help you reach a high-level of proficiency in the topic. I assure you that what may seem daunting, boring and pointless can quickly become a source of endless fascination.
