About Athena
I have vast clinical and teaching experience as an adjunct faculty member, clinic rehabilitation director in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation facility, and currently owner of my own clinic. By attending postgraduate seminars on anatomy, functional medicine, neurology, rehabilitation, and nutrition, I stay ahead of the trends affecting the medical field. I also have 5+ years teaching experience on the university level in the subjects of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology and microbiology (lecture and laboratory). I believe that these efforts have contributed to my consistently high student satisfaction ratings and test scores. I would love to have the opportunity to bring to life anatomy and physiology for students by sharing my clinical/real-life experiences as they apply to coursework.
I believe that the skills I have gained in my clinical and teaching career thus far have been essential in providing clinical experience that can be translated and assimilated into classroom instruction.
