About James
I am university academic with 7 years experience tutoring Earth, Ocean and Environmental Sciences to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students. I currently work at a British international school and so also have experience of teaching both children and adults with a different international backgrounds and language abilities. I am equally happy teaching a broad range of earth science subjects but specialise in environmental and aquatic pollution, GIS, geophysics and sedimentology.

I have a broad experience teaching online, class based and in the field to both adults and children. Through out all of my teaching I place an emphasis on learning practical and transferable skills to help students excel beyond the formal teaching environment. I also place great value in immersive hands on teaching and will encourage students to go beyond the materials presented to them by me.
