About Bailey
I am a passionate educator and lifelong learner with a deep love for anatomy, physiology, and all aspects of the medical sciences. My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, majoring in Anatomy, from QUT, followed by a Master of Public Health from UQ. I am currently in my final year of the Doctor of Medicine program at OUM. My path through medicine has been both unique and enriching. I have sat the GAMSAT multiple times, completed the early years of my medical training in the UK, and am now finishing my degree back in Australia. Along the way, I have gained valuable insights into the UK, US, and Australian medical systems, which allows me to offer informed guidance to students with diverse aspirations. With over three years of university teaching experience—including hands-on anatomy demonstrations with cadavers and lecturing in physiology—and more than five years as a private tutor, I have had the privilege of supporting students at every stage, from high school to medical school. My firsthand experience with the challenges and triumphs of studying health sciences fuels my commitment to making learning accessible, enjoyable, and rewarding. I am especially passionate about helping students prepare for medical school entry exams such as the GAMSAT, as well as navigating crucial assessments like the AMC, USMLE, OSCEs, and medical finals. My teaching style is warm, supportive, and always tailored to your individual needs and goals. I love using analogies, real-world examples, and a touch of humor to make even the most complex topics understandable and memorable. Beyond teaching, I stay up-to-date with the latest research in medicine and public health, and I am always eager to share practical study strategies and career advice. I thrive on hands-on learning and am excited to pursue a future career in surgery. I look forward to helping you achieve your academic and professional goals, and being a part of your learning journey!

3+ years of university teaching experience and 5+ years as a dedicated tutor. I have demonstrated anatomy using cadavers, delivered engaging lectures in anatomy and physiology, and tutored medical students at various stages of their training. As a final-year medical student myself, I possess in-depth knowledge of medical school entry requirements, including the GAMSAT, USMLE step 1 & 2, AMC exams, OSCEs and medical finals.
My teaching philosophy is all about making complex topics accessible and memorable. I tailor each lesson to your individual needs, using vivid analogies, mnemonics and relatable real-life examples to break down even the most challenging concepts. Together, we’ll identify your unique learning style and develop effective strategies to help you retain and apply information with confidence.
I strive to create a supportive, stress-free environment where you can ask questions freely, progress at your own pace, and build self-assurance in your abilities. My experience extends to research and academic writing, including systematic reviews and interpreting randomised controlled trials, so I can guide you through assignments, exam preparation and research projects.
Your first lesson is complimentary and serves as an opportunity for us to get to know each other, discuss your goals, and explore how I can best support your learning journey. Whether you want to chat about medicine, university life or simply need guidance on where to start, I’m here to listen and help.
I look forward to supporting you on your academic path and helping you achieve your goals!
