About Brian
I am a music teacher with over 25 years of experience teaching all levels from elementary school to graduate level courses. I have a BM from Berklee College of Music, a Master's of Music Education from the University of Connecticut, and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Boston University.
Music theory has always been a passion of mine, but not only the theoretical side. As a performing musician (all styles from classical and jazz to rock and country), I find that theory is most useful when it is APPLIED to your instrument.

1/2 hour lessons - $25
I prefer to teach 1/2 hour lessons. I find that they are more efficient and direct. Plus, I can give you enough information in a half hour to make your head spin.
