About Ashna

I understand firsthand that medical school isn’t easy—I’ve been through it myself. It’s intense and demanding, but I’ve found ways to make it manageable and even enjoyable. I wasn’t the top student in med school, but I developed methods to truly understand and appreciate the material, which led me to graduate with two degrees in Medicine and Physiology.

Because I know what it's like to struggle, I can connect with students who may feel overwhelmed. I’ll teach you the way I learned—breaking down complex topics into simpler, more engaging lessons that make learning fun and less daunting. If I can do it, so can you, and I’m here to help you through it!

As a tutor, I focus on simplifying complex topics and fostering active learning through discussions, real-world examples, and interactive problem-solving. My lessons are tailored to each student's needs, ensuring they grasp key concepts at their own pace.

Teaching Methodology:
I use Socratic questioning, visual aids, and practical examples to make lessons engaging and easy to follow. Each session includes a brief recap, core content, and hands-on practice to solidify understanding.

What Sets Me Apart:
With degrees in Medicine and Physiology and two years of teaching experience, I bring both academic and real-world insights. I adapt my methods to suit students from high school to medical school levels.

Lessons For:
My lessons are ideal for high school biology students and pre-med/medical students seeking support in physiology and biology.
