About Akudo Odochi
I am a Microbiologist, who is currently completing her PhD in the field of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. The field of science intrigues me and thus why I ventured into this field. I have been tutoring and mentoring high school, undergraduate and post- graduate students since 2013, who have since grown and excelled at their subject.

My teaching methodology/philosophy is often aimed at making each tutoring session as interactive as possible. This aids in helping the tutoring sessions not to become a bore to the students and additionally through experience, I have noticed that interactive sessions are more memorable. I also like giving quizzes, tests at the end of each session, as this helps the students to recap and retain what was learnt during each session. In addition, focusing on building students' independent study habits is also quite important to me.2
