About Laura
My name is Laura, a 28 years old Dominican citizen, with a high level commitment to add value to the environment that surrounds me. I studied in Santo Domingo and I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with honors Cum Laude. I began my career as a volunteer in the Youth Ministry of a Christian congregation, where I supported everything relating to the administrative and operational tasks of the training programs for youth leaders. Three and a half years later, I began working at the NGO of Dominican Republic. I worked as a Project Coordinator. As a result, I was able to participate in some of its areas of work such as Natural Resources and Education for Children.
Working at the Foundation further cemented my commitment to educating people, being an agent of change, and supporting people in developing their skills in life. So that gave me the opportunity to improve my oral skills and writing and comprehension skills in Spanish
Currently, I have been working for one year and seven months at private corporate consulting firm located in the Dominican Republic, where I support the quality management system of the services we provide to some of the most important companies in the country.
I like to work with people and for people because I think that is an excellent space to develop skills for them and I.
Finally, I would like to highlight my interest in being able to teach Spanish classes with the highest levels of quality, best practices and resources.

My Spanish classes are based on the development of basic skills: writing, grammar, reading and oral and written comprehension, accompanied by the student in each phase of the teaching process - learning to develop the best skills expected by the levels of learning required. Each module has a structure of time and content for the achievement of learning objectives that has been designed.
I use multiple pedagogical resources as audiovisual, to support the teaching process in the classes.
Within my strengths as a facilitator of Spanish or tutor is my great commitment to make my students feel satisfied during the modules and achieve their goals, so I am very supportive in knowing the expectations of my classes, to develop them with motivation. Another of my skills is that I have a great command of the Spanish language in its correct and proper use.
I also have designed special modules for those students who wish to strengthen one of the special skills.
