About Zion
I am very grateful to be a part of the very prestigious Vice Chancellor's Distinguished Merit Award cohort at the University of Pretoria.
"Colourful" would be the most suitable description for my personality. I enjoy being around others and surrounding myself with good energy. I also enjoy expressing myself with my physical appearance.
I love keeping myself busy! I try my best to be a well-rounded individual and make time for hobbies where I can. Whether it's studying, playing guitar or learning a new language, I enjoy being productive. (Though that doesn't mean I don't have my lazy days!)
I am currently the Volunteer & Training Coordinator at Youth for Understanding (YFU) South Africa. I have been part-timing for YFU since 2021. My job requires me to recruit and train volunteers for orientations for high school foreign exchange students. Hence, I have a lot of experience working with and teaching high school students!

I teach high school subjects such as Mathematics, Physical Sciences and English.
I enjoy breaking down large, complicated concepts into smaller bite-sized pieces to make them easier to understand. That's honestly how I made it through high school myself.
I prefer getting to know my students' learning styles and personalities first before delving into the work they need help with. It makes it easier to tailor lessons specifically for them.
