About Patrick
I’m a 20 year old soon to be graduate from drama school. Acting at its best, is all about listening and responding and I believe teaching is similar; maximise and focus on positive aspects. I like to help my students understand how they like to work and implement that into every dialogue I have as not everyone learns in the same way. I have 3 younger siblings who I have tutored in various subjects all of my life and watching breakthroughs of passion and understanding is an incredibly rewarding feeling.

I believe confidence is the key to learning. This confidence comes from enjoyment and my primary focus as a tutor is that my students enjoys discussing the relevant subject as well as putting in into practise on paper. If one finds passion in thinking and discussing something, the need for writing and structuring these thoughts and ideas becomes apparent and will feel useful and fun rather than taxing or boring. English particularly requires creativity and engaging in this is key for making progress in the subject.
