About Hattie
I have some experience of mentoring others whilst at school, and helping younger siblings with schoolwork etc. From this and my success in school, I feel confident in helping children learn key aspects of literacy such as reading, punctuation and spelling, but also more complex areas such as sentence structure, writing stories, and non-fiction writing.

Hi, I'm Hattie, currently a student at Drama school. We are in interesting times, so I am offering Literacy and English lessons via webcam, to help children learning at home. I have had a real passion for english from a young age, and so by teaching in a fun and relaxed environment, I feel I can help children to improve their skills, and also to be more confident and comfortable in the subject. From previous experience in mentoring others whilst at school, I am able to effectively teach important foundation skills such as reading, spelling and punctuation, and also more complex areas such as sentence structures, story writing and non-fiction writing.
I teach in a way that is best fitted to the child, whether that be flashcards and games or worksheets, everyone learns differently.
