About Jemima
I am an enthusiastic, academically-orientated undergraduate student who understands the struggles of progressing in difficult subjects! Over the course of my academic career, I have had to work extremely hard to achieve my goals, which has given me a true understanding of the challenges students face and the techniques that can help them thrive. I am also a very patient, and supportive person who believes that making mistakes is an essential part of learning. I strive to create an environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions, get things wrong and reach their full potential!

- Tailouring each lesson to each individual student is my priority! I use a combination of listening, consolidation, and interactive learning to maximise engagement and success.
- I take pride in creating powerpoints that use bold visuals and bright colours that make complex ideas easier to understand and to create an enjoyable learning experience.
- I offer lessons from 30 mins to 1 hour but am extremely flexible in doing what works for every student or family!
- I target lessons to GCSE (Year 10 - 11) or A-Level students (Year 12-13) but am more than happy to tutor in lower years.
- I studied French and English Literature at both GCSE and A-Level, achieving an A* in French A-Level, an A in English Literature, 8 in French GCSE and 9 in English Literature GCSE.
- I have previously had experience online tutoring for both French and English Literature therefore, I have really nailed what works well for students!
