About Eva
I am a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and a BSc in Food Chemistry, and my greatest strength lies in helping students truly visualize molecules rather than memorize formulas. I believe chemistry becomes meaningful when learners can see how atoms connect and interact in space. To support this, I regularly use molecular modeling software and virtual reality simulations to explain molecular geometry and bonding theories in an interactive way. Students can rotate molecules, observe angles, and understand spatial arrangements directly. I am especially passionate about teaching VSEPR theory, as it provides a clear foundation for predicting molecular shapes. Hybridization is another key focus, and I explain it using visual orbital overlap rather than abstract diagrams alone. Intermolecular forces are explored in depth to show how structure affects boiling points, solubility, and reactivity. My background in Food Chemistry helps me connect these ideas to real materials and applications. I enjoy guiding students who struggle with spatial thinking. Step by step, complex structures become clear. Confidence grows naturally with understanding. Chemistry stops feeling abstract and starts making sense. I teach Chemistry by simplifying complicated structures. Organic nomenclature is taught through rules and examples. Students learn functional groups by seeing them used in reactions. Reaction mechanisms are explained stepwise to promote reasoning. Isomerism becomes clear through visual aids. I also help Environmentalists and Marine Biologists apply chemistry to environmental systems. Feedback is consistent and helpful. Lessons are student-centered and supportive. We practice problem solving every session. Skills for organic synthesis are built over time. My teaching helps students excel and feel confident in organic chemistry.
