About Toby
Professional drummer, percussionist and educator with 17 years of experience performing and teaching. I have taught students around the world and have hosted masterclasses and clinics in Australia and internationally.
I have taught hundreds of students over my career, including at schools and universities across Australia, and clinics and masterclasses in four countries. I currently teaching students at two schools as well as my personal teaching and recording studio in Caulfield North.
Teaching is exciting for me and my goal is to assist every student I have to want to get better and enjoy their growth and education.

Toby is an outstanding drummer, percussionist and teacher. I asked him early on to push me in preparation for VCE exams - and he really did! We did 1hr lessons weekly and some occasional weekend sessions leading up to the exam performances. I aced the exams and have continued lessons to keep progressing and work on my band.
Toby also taught one of my friends when I recommended that she take a lessons or two to get her started as a beginner and we've been carpooling to the studio for four months.
