About Charlotte
I am a Durham University finalist, predicted to graduate this summer with First-Class Honours in Liberal Arts (English, Spanish, and Italian). My next Durham adventure will be a Masters in Politics and International Relations. I achieved 2 A*s and 2 As at A-level (English Literature, Spanish, History, Mathematics) and 10 A*s at GCSE. My Year Abroad in Spain remains my greatest success to date, and reaching my goal of C2 Spanish proficiency according to CEFR validation is reflective of my determination and resilience to setbacks.
I offer tutoring in English Literature to A-level, and Spanish classes for any age group. I have significant experience tutoring younger students whilst at school, focusing my efforts particularly on GCSE students in need of extra help with Spanish, and have assisted in Spanish oral classes for Year 5, 6, 7, and 8 pupils.
I am also able to offer tutoring in English as a second language; whilst on my year abroad in Madrid, I taught English to a Spanish colleague who, at the beginning of the year, was unable to speak a word of the language. A year later, he now works for a leading film production company in London.
I can tutor both online and at home. During term time, I am based in Durham, and during university holidays, I am based in Buckinghamshire/London.

I am a strong believer in a flexible tuition approach, tailored to the needs of each individual student. Following an initial assessment, classes and lesson plans will be personalised in order to best enhance the performance of the student. In English Literature lessons, I will challenge the analytical skillset of the student, whilst Spanish lessons will use a breadth of multi-sensory resources. Relevant exercises will be set in order to ensure progress is made between classes. I am reliable, friendly, and encouraging.
