About Emily
I am currently studying an essay based subject at Durham. I received high 9s in both my English GCSEs and an A* at A level as well as winning several essay competitions. I love teaching and have experience turtoring every age group up to 18. I love chatting about literature as well as doing deep analysis/ I’m very approachable so no need to be scared of lesson.

Before our first lesson I would ask to see examples of the students written work to see what their writing style is like. I would then spend the first lesson chatting with the student about their goals/ what they struggle with particularly. From then on I’d create a week by week lesson plan. Lessons would be very chatty and casual (nothing scary)!
