About Helena
As a previous Dux learner with honorary Academic colors and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Management courtesy of the Elite Bursary, I offer comprehensive tutorage in a wide range of subjects for both school-going learners and university/college students. I thoroughly enjoy supporting students throughout their academic journey, to ultimately help them better their marks and gain a definitive advantage in their classes.
I have been tutoring part-time for 5 years and can provide references concerning client satisfaction. My range of tutoring experience includes grade 10, 11 and 12 students as well as first, second and third-year university students. Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions.

I am enthusiastic about the practical application of theory and find academics highly enjoyable, but also strive to prepare my students for exams by encouraging independent thinking, as well as personal development. I try my best to convey a passion for learning, research and growth. My teaching methodology is adjusted based upon the individual student's preference in terms of learning style. Though I begin by trying to gauge how far they are with their course materials and their general knowledge of the particular subject, then continue on from there with theory and explaining it in detail with the help of a real-life, relatable example that they can easily commit to memory.
