About Tara
I have recently moved back from working in a school in Spain and have a lot of experience teaching languages. As a keen linguist and former student of linguistics, having obtained a first-class degree in English and Spanish at the University of Birmingham, I would able to utilize my linguistic capabilities knowing first-hand which methods in particular aid the learning of a foreign language. I studied Spanish and Latin American literature and history and have helped students prepare for A level Spanish examinations covering both language and cultural aspects. However, first and foremost I encourage speaking and communication in my lessons so that students come away with the ability to use their language skills in real world situations.
