About Alistair
I am an experienced Spanish instructor with 8 years of teaching experience, working with high school and college students from different academic backgrounds. I have helped students improve exam performance and develop strong communication skills in Spanish.
Personalised learning is a key part of my teaching philosophy. I customise lesson plans to suit each student’s pace, strengths, and areas for improvement. This helps students feel supported and confident throughout the learning process.

My teaching methodology for Spanish combines creativity, clarity, and steady practice. I believe students learn best when lessons are interactive, enjoyable, and meaningful.
I use creative methods such as storytelling, dialogues, role plays, visuals, and real-life examples. Grammar is explained in simple terms and reinforced through speaking and writing exercises. This helps students retain knowledge and apply it confidently.
As a mentor and critical thinker, I guide students to understand sentence structures, correct mistakes, and think logically about the language. I encourage curiosity, independent thinking, and active participation.
