About Milly
I am a dedicated Early Years practitioner with a Level 5 qualification, currently progressing towards my Level 6 with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). I have a strong passion for supporting young children’s development, particularly in the areas of communication, social interaction and early learning through play. With experience working with children aged 2.5 to 7 years, I bring a warm, nurturing and reflective approach to my practice, always prioritising children’s individual needs and well-being. I am highly motivated to continue developing professionally and am particularly interested in how high-quality interactions and thoughtful use of resources, including digital media, can support children’s learning. I am committed to creating engaging, inclusive environments where children feel confident, curious and supported to reach their full potential.

I offer tutoring support for young children, particularly within the Early Years and Key Stage 1, with a strong focus on building confidence, communication and a love of learning. With a Level 5 qualification in Early Years and currently working towards Level 6 with QTS, I have a solid understanding of child development and how to support individual learning needs. I can provide support in early literacy, phonics, language development, and early maths, using engaging, play-based approaches tailored to each child. My strengths lie in creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe and motivated, as well as adapting my teaching to suit different learning styles. I am particularly skilled in supporting children’s speech and language development, attention, and social interaction, ensuring that learning is both enjoyable and developmentally appropriate.
