I am a patient and creative teacher who takes the time to find the best individual approach for each student to best learn the material. Since I am also a composer, I have a unique understanding of music from both sides - as writer and teacher.

I have lots of experience working with students including undergrads at NYU while I was there receiving my master's in composition. I have a degree in theory from the Eastman School of Music and have been a working composer - writing music and lyrics - for over twenty years.
