About Owen
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a PhD in Development Economics. I have 12 years of experience teaching economics to learners from diverse educational backgrounds. My interest in economics developed through studying how policies and markets influence social progress. Teaching allows me to share that knowledge while helping students build valuable analytical skills.
My teaching style is practical, engaging, and adaptable. I believe economics becomes easier when students can connect theories to real situations. Lessons are adjusted to match different learning preferences and goals. Some learners enjoy discussions and case studies, while others prefer visual explanations. I encourage active participation and curiosity throughout lessons.
Outside teaching, I enjoy following global economic developments and researching policy trends. Staying informed helps me bring relevant examples into the classroom. I enjoy helping students build confidence and understanding in economics. Watching learners develop stronger reasoning skills is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
