About Ayesha
My fascination with economics began when I realised how profoundly it shapes daily life—from personal decisions to national policies. That curiosity guided me through a B.A and M.A in Economics, and for the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching this subject to students with diverse goals and backgrounds. Every class reminds me why I chose this field: it empowers us to understand society, behaviour, and change through thoughtful analysis. My teaching style is warm, structured, and highly adaptive. I value clarity and patience, ensuring that students feel safe asking questions and exploring ideas. Economics can be dense, but with the right examples and explanations, it becomes intuitive and enjoyable. I tailor lessons to each learner’s pace, using stories, diagrams, and real-world parallels to make abstract ideas understandable. Encouragement and steady guidance lie at the heart of my approach. Outside the classroom, I stay connected to current economic research, policy discussions, and evolving teaching methods. I also enjoy reading, writing, and engaging in analytical discussions that deepen my understanding. Teaching economics is more than my job—it is a meaningful way to help students develop intellectual confidence and a more thoughtful perspective on the world.

Economics becomes meaningful when students see how theories shape real-world decisions, and I build my lessons around that connection. I create an encouraging atmosphere where learners explore concepts like demand, supply, markets, growth, and development with clarity and curiosity. Whether analysing graphs or understanding everyday economic behaviour, students are guided to think critically, question assumptions, and apply theory to practical situations. The goal is to make economics feel alive, relevant, and intellectually stimulating. Lesson structure varies by skill level. Beginners learn foundational ideas through simple examples, visual explanations, and structured exercises. Intermediate students examine elasticity, cost structures, macroeconomic indicators, and policy interactions with deeper analytical reasoning. Advanced learners engage in case studies, data interpretation, exam-focused writing, and conceptual synthesis that prepares them for university studies or competitive exams. I emphasise clarity in definitions, precision in diagram work, and strong logical flow in written answers. Ultimately, I aim to help students develop confidence, awareness, and independence in economic thinking. Many have improved their grades, written insightful essays, or gained interest in higher studies, but the most meaningful achievement is watching them grow into observant, thoughtful decision-makers. Economics becomes not just a subject but a lens through which they understand the world—its systems, choices, and challenges.
