About Dans
I am an economist with a passion for Econometrics and Macroeconomics. I built my background through studies at top European institutions and over two years as a central bank economist. Currently, I'm pursuing my PhD at the European University Institute in Florence after graduating top of my class in both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
My online teaching experience includes guiding students through econometrics and R programming using interactive whiteboard sessions and targeted slides. In addition, I mentor university students, helping them navigate course material, set academic goals, and apply for competitive internships.

As a teacher, my priority is intuition. Economic models and econometrics can easily intimidate with complex-looking equations. But behind almost every equation lies a simple, intuitive idea. My goal is to help you see that idea. Once the intuition clicks, the math suddenly looks much friendlier.
I have assisted students with all levels of prior knowledge. Whether you need to spend extra time mastering the basics, debug your R or Stata code, or dig deep into advanced material, I'm happy to adapt.
