About Jahnavi
My fascination with economics began with observing the interaction between markets, policies, and human behavior. I pursued a B.A. in Economics followed by an M.A. in Financial Economics, gaining both theoretical knowledge and analytical expertise. Over 7 years of teaching, I have helped students develop strong understanding, critical thinking, and practical application skills. I tailor lessons to each learner’s needs, using examples, exercises, and explanations that match their style and pace. My approach emphasizes comprehension over memorization, encouraging students to think independently and make connections between concepts. Building confidence and curiosity is central to my teaching philosophy. Outside teaching, I remain engaged with economic research, current events, and analytical studies, bringing relevant, real-world insights into lessons. Watching students progress from uncertain beginners to capable, confident thinkers is deeply fulfilling and motivates me to continue nurturing analytical and curious minds.

Economics becomes clearer and more engaging when learners can relate concepts to real-life markets, policies, and decisions. I focus on foundational principles such as supply and demand, market equilibrium, elasticity, fiscal and monetary policy, trade, and behavioral insights. Lessons are structured progressively, combining theory with practical examples and interactive exercises to ensure comprehension and active participation. I foster a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and applying knowledge to practical scenarios.
For more advanced learners, I include analytical exercises, case studies, data interpretation, and policy evaluation. I emphasize logical reasoning, critical thinking, and the ability to connect theoretical models with current economic situations. Each session is designed to strengthen understanding, decision-making skills, and the ability to analyze complex scenarios effectively.
Studying economics also enhances problem-solving, critical evaluation, and informed decision-making. Students gain insights into how economic principles shape society and daily life, developing skills that extend beyond the classroom. My goal is to empower learners to approach economics with confidence, curiosity, and a meaningful understanding of its relevance.
