About Hannah
My journey into economics began with curiosity about how societies grow, why inequality persists, and how government policies shape opportunity for millions of people. This passion led me to complete a B.A in Economic Studies and later an M.Sc in Applied Global Economics, where I explored both theoretical frameworks and real-world economic challenges across international contexts. Over the past 8 years, I have guided students through economics with patience, clarity, and an emphasis on meaningful understanding rather than memorization.
I believe economics is best learned when students feel supported and encouraged to think independently. My teaching approach focuses on breaking complex models into manageable ideas, using real-world examples to make concepts feel relevant and alive. I help learners build confidence in essays, problem-solving, and economic discussion through step-by-step guidance.
Outside tutoring, I stay engaged with economics through policy research reading, development studies, and continual exploration of modern financial trends. Teaching economics is deeply rewarding because I witness students transform from uncertainty into confident thinkers who can explain and apply economic reasoning.

Economics becomes far more meaningful when students realize it explains the choices shaping societies, businesses, and everyday life. In my lessons, I guide learners through supply and demand, inflation, unemployment, taxation, trade, and development economics with clarity and supportive structure. I focus on helping students understand not just definitions, but the deeper reasoning behind economic systems. Through relatable examples and discussion of current events, students begin connecting economic models to the real world around them.
Each lesson is adapted to the learner’s level and goals. Beginners build foundations in opportunity cost, simple market diagrams, and basic economic thinking. Intermediate learners develop deeper understanding of elasticity, macroeconomic indicators, business competition, and government intervention. Advanced students explore global development challenges, financial systems, evaluation-based essay writing, and exam-level analytical reasoning. Practice questions, structured feedback, and supportive explanation are included in every session to ensure consistent growth.
Economics lessons also build lifelong critical thinking skills. Students learn how to interpret information thoughtfully, express arguments clearly, and understand the forces shaping the modern world. My goal is to help learners succeed academically while becoming confident economic thinkers.
