About Deidre
I am a permanently certified teacher with an Ms.Ed in English education. I worked for many years as an "inner-city" teacher in New York. In addition to teaching in a Community College, I also opened my own practice as a learning specialist and eventually, my own school for homeschooling. My writing experience makes me especially suited as a tutor. On-line classes can be done on many platforms.

I am the author of ten internationally published books. My works--both fiction and non-fiction, have received recognition and awards from Universities and Literary Societies. I've taughtMiddle school, high-school, college, homeschoolers , and adults. And I love teaching: Creative writing for kids 8 to adult, Essay, technical writing and absolutely anything to do with the subject of English.
My classes are 50 minutes of enthusiasm, motivation and learning.
