About Nicole
I am a seasoned teacher with experience at the elementary level. I have taught 2nd-5th grade. I have taught all subject areas, but excel in elementary ELA and Math. My teaching experience has been through different types of curriculum based off the Common Core State Standards.

My teaching approach is very hands on. Students learn by doing. In math, students should have the opportunity to learn through the use of manipulatives and pictures for conceptual understanding. Students should be able to collaborate with peers through the use of cooperative learning strategies.
