I’m a credentialed educator with a Master’s in Special Education, and over 15 years of experience in music production, sound design, and live performance. I’ve spent nearly two decades helping students of all ages and learning styles succeed both in academic settings and in creative fields like music production. Whether I’m teaching how to build a track in Ableton or helping a student stay focused and organized, my goal is to create a supportive, structured environment where learning feels clear, personal, and empowering. I bring patience, professionalism, and real-world experience to every session. As a credentialed educator with nearly 20 years of experience, I combine my background in music production and special education to create lessons that are personalized, structured, and accessible to all learners. I use a student-centered approach, adapting each session to the individual’s learning style, goals, and experience level, whether they’re a complete beginner or looking to refine advanced techniques.
A typical lesson includes a warm-up or review of previous material, a guided skill or concept (such as working with hardware, using VSTs, or DAW arrangement), and hands-on practice where students apply what they’ve learned in real time. I integrate visuals, scaffolding, and step-by-step guidance to make complex tools and workflows feel intuitive and creative, not overwhelming.
What sets me apart is my ability to teach technical concepts in a way that clicks with young learners, teens, and adults. I also bring over 15 years of real-world experience as a producer, performer, and DJ, having toured internationally and worked with a wide range of music gear and software.
