About Maciej
I have taught English as a Foreign Language for over 15 years and in a variety of educational contexts. Currently, I teach international students aged 11-18 attending a private boarding school in England, where I prepare them for:
- Cambridge Preliminary,
- Cambridge First,
- Cambridge Advanced,
- IELTS,
- EFL IGCSE examinations.
Previously, I taught ESOL and Functional Skills English at all proficiency levels and ages (Entry levels to Level 2).
During my career, I have successfully prepared students for all of the above exams and I am confident I can help you on your English learning journey.
I have a Bachelor degree in English Philology, a postgraduate Certificate in TESOL, a postgraduate Diploma in TESOL, and a Professional Graduate Certificate in Education and Training.
I welcome all ages and abilities.

I use a variety of methods suited to individual learning styles and using different media and resources. I always find engaging ways to explain grammar and language theory and how to use these in real life situations. Most of all, I always try to make my lessons fun and interesting.
