About Eilidh
Hi, I’m Eilidh! I’m currently completing my LLB in Scots Law at the University of Glasgow. I achieved 6 A’s at higher (English included) and 2 A’s at advanced higher (again including English).
As a lover of literature and poetry, and a frequent writer; I believe that through supportive teaching, I can help you begin to enjoy the English language (and, of course, help you survive your exams).

I believe that every person has a different style of learning and thus requires teaching that is tailor made to fit their learning needs. It is because of this that I ensure I take time to understand a person’s learning style and adapt their lessons to fit it accordingly.
I aim for lessons to be approximately an hour long and cover any areas of particular difficulty that the student faces with needs-based teaching.
My general teaching is aimed towards secondary school pupils sitting examinations from national 5 through to advanced higher. However, I am able to adapt my teaching to the appropriate stage.
I am always supportive, understanding and encouraging to my students to ensure my teaching is useful and my students build confidence in the subject.
