As a student who used go for many tuitions back in primary and secondary school, I find that studying is not all about memorising. Through all my experience learning i find that learning through understanding the topics and finding unique ways to retain the information helps to overcome the fear of intimidating subjects.
I focus on teaching Mother Tongue (chinese) & Math for Primary School students. I realised when it comes to these 2 topics many students gets intimidated easy and feels that they are very difficult. I will be teaching students techniques beyond textbooks (e.g pomodoro studying technique) to help them better absorb materials.
I wish to help students breakdown this barrier of learning by acquiring interactive teaching techniques, changing traditional ways of teaching. I believe once students build their confidence in answering the questions its half the battle won.
Lesson duration will be between 1.5-2 hrs. Available online/offline (hougang-sengkang area).
