About Fabián
I’m Fabián Cortés, a graduate of the Fermatta Music Academy and a former student at the UNAM School of Music. For almost 15 years, I’ve been teaching individual and group guitar lessons, offering a patient and personalized approach for children, teens, and adults. Many of my students have grown musically with me — some started from scratch and now perform complex pieces with confidence. I’ve developed my own musical projects in metal, jazz, rock, blues, and classical music, and I’ve composed and produced music for commercials for brands such as Fox Sports, Powerade, Claro Video, Biometrix, Jimena Sánchez, and Nissan. My goal is to share my passion for music and guide you through your artistic and musical growth.

Through creative exercises, personalized repertoire, and ongoing support, students learn not only to play, but also to listen, understand, and truly feel the music. Several of my students have been with me for years — they started from scratch and now perform complex pieces with confidence and their own unique style. Each class is a motivating experience that encourages artistic growth and musical confidence.

Sí estás en búsqueda de un profesor de música que se adapte y te pueda enseñar con base en tus objetivos, puedes terminar aquí tu búsqueda y no te arrepentirás!!Perfect! 100% recomendado, en la primer clase te pregunta en que te quieres enfocar, si en la parte ténica o también incluyendo temas de teoría musical y de ahi se van personalizando los temas que se aprenden cada semana.
Se observa rápidamente que el profesor cuenta con una enorme preparación musical, es todo un profesional en el ámbito.Perfect! Buen profesor, explica claro y es muy paciente.

Gran músico y profesor. Llevo mas de 6 años estudiando con Fabian. Aprendi a tocar guitarra desde cero y toco canciones con solos de alta complejidad como los de David Gilmour/ Pink Floyd.
Recomiendo ampliamente a Fabian con quien aprenderas a tocar con muy buena tecnica.Fabián es un músico muy talentoso con un conocimiento profundo de la guitarra Su paciencia y su capacidad para explicar conceptos complejos de manera sencilla me han ayudado a progresar mucho. Si buscan mejorar de manera continua en la guitarra se los recomiendo ampliamente.
Fabián es excelente, tanto en lo personal como en lo profesional. Ha sido mi profe por muchos años y sigo aprendiendo cosas nuevas. Es técnico, flexible, paciente y un gran conocedor. Además, es muy versátil; he aprendido clásica y eléctrica en géneros my variados desde rock clásico, thrash o grunge hasta folk o canciones navideñas. Un gran profesor y músico.

Mi hijo lleva más de un año tomando clases de guitarra eléctrica y pese a ser un niño hiperactivo y algo impaciente ha podido avanzar bastante bien con el profesor Fabián, quien ha mostrado paciencia y respeto en todo momento. Es una persona jovial, profesional y con amplia experiencia. 100 % recomendable para las personas que gustan de música rock y el metal , lo cual no es tan común encontrar en el mercado.
