About Angelica
I'm a student at the University of Surrey studying MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering. As an engineering student, I have a strong background in Maths and Physics - with A/A*s in GCSE and A-Level
I've worked with primary school children before as well as helping my younger siblings who are in secondary school so I'm comfortable with helping all ages and abilities to get the best result possible. Additionally, I have sat exams for the new GCSE and A-Level specifications so I'm familiar with the curriculums.

Maths and Physics are often looked at as "memory" subjects in the sense that you memorise and apply a bunch of formulas here and there. But it's definitely more than that! My teaching methodology starts with the very basics, ensuring the foundations of your knowledge and understanding is solid so that we can build a deeper understanding and break down the latter, complex concepts progressively together.
I only offer 1-to-1 lessons as it means I can focus on your needs and your personal goals and tailor my tutoring to fit you. Not only will you improve your maths/physics abilities, but I also want to help your individual study skills. Sometimes the problem doesn't lie in your knowledge or understanding but how you study. Rather than me telling you how to do something, I like to be more of a guide so that you gain self-confidence and slowly become an independent learner. I strongly think this is an important skill for progressing in your academics/career.
I'm very keen on building a good personal relationship with students so that I'm able to personalise my tutoring further to bring out the best of your ability as well as creating an easy, enjoyable learning environment without the pressure
