About Taher
My students love me because I'm super friendly, super fun and most importantly... super funny! I care deeply about my students; my teaching style is relaxed but engaging, and designed to ensure you learn a bunch and have a bunch of fun doing it.
I'm a highly-experienced engineer and teacher; anything you've been through, I've been through it too and am here to support you through it. Except some awesome motivational speeches from time to time :)

I design my lessons around 'doing' rather than 'telling' so you can start building your project portfolio; in a typical lesson, we would learn the theory behind something and then immediately apply it to developing something fun that you can put on your portfolio or resume e.g. learn the theory behind arrays, and then use it to make a hang man game
Using this approach, I've taught students from primary school through to advanced Computer Engineering students at University. In fact, I taught students aged 9 - 14 programming to a first-year University level within 2 weeks; they loved it so much they begged their parents to let me continue teaching them, which I gladly did!
